RICHARD THOMAS IS BRILLIANT IN “TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD”!

ALL RISE! Broadway’s To Kill A Mockingbird, the Pulitzer-Prize-Winning story by Harper Lee, had Fort Lauderdale’s opening-night audience on its feet in ovations at Broward Center For The Performing Arts. Running through April 9, this must-see performance of an American classic is loosely based on Lee’s own father, an attorney, herself at age 10 and her family’s experience in 1930s Alabama. Richard Thomas as heroic attorney Atticus Finch, Melanie Moore (shown above with Thomas) as his daughter and narrator Scout Finch, Jacqueline Williams as housekeeper Calpurnia, and Yaegel T. Welch as falsely accused Tom Robinson, brilliantly portray the story involving racial injustice, loss of innocence, as well as courage and compassion. Click to watch this video trailer.
